About Connect n Care ABA

Why we exist

Your child is so much more than their label. You know that, and at Connect n Care, we do too.

We want you to discover the joys of parenting a child on the spectrum. We want you to see your child blossoming, and learning the skills to become exactly who they were born to be.

That's precisely why Connect n Care ABA exists.

The Team Who Understands

Our ABA professionals blend
expertise with compassion

Board certified behavior analysts

Who craft therapy based on your child's natural interests and how they process information, rather than following standard templates.

Registered behavior technicians

Who catch progress in everyday moments and stay steady during tough phases.

Family care coordinators

Who know that you're the authority on your child—we're here to enhance your family's vision, not replace your wisdom.

Many on our team are parents of children with autism themselves. We grasp more than the technical side—we've faced the sleepless nights, the IEP preparations, and the unexpected breakthroughs.

How we work

Our principles shape
every choice

01

Following your child's natural timeline:

Some children require more time to feel comfortable with new faces. Others engage quickly but become overstimulated easily. We observe your child's authentic learning style and modify our approach accordingly. Your family's goals become our roadmap.

02

Complete transparency:

When you inquire about our weekly objectives, you receive a clear response. When you request data review, we provide it. When something seems confusing, we clarify until you understand. No clinical terminology, no secretive approaches.

03

Science applied thoughtfully:

We implement evidence-based methods, but we understand your household isn't a laboratory setting. When standard techniques don't align with your child or family dynamics, we adapt until they fit perfectly.

04

Adapting to your reality:

You shouldn't reorganize your career, skip family celebrations, or modify your parenting philosophy to accommodate therapy. We shape our methods around your family's actual lifestyle.

05

Honest communication always:

When progress plateaus, we acknowledge it. When strategies aren't effective, we modify them. When your child requires additional time beyond our initial projections, we address it directly. You deserve truthful communication, not comforting generalizations.

06

Real-world skill application:

If your child only responds to instructions from their Wednesday therapist but not from you, siblings, or educators, our job isn't complete. We persist until abilities emerge naturally across all relationships and environments.

Ages 1 to 21

Supporting development
through every phase

At Connect n Care ABA, we work with children and young adults from 1 to 21 years old, adapting our approach to match where your child is right now and what they're ready to tackle next.

The Early Years

1–3

These little ones are just figuring out how to communicate their needs and connect with the people they love. We help them discover their voice, understand their feelings, and start building those first important relationships through play and exploration.

Like 2-year-old Marcus, who used to have meltdowns when he wanted his favorite snack. Now he brings his mom to the kitchen and points to the crackers, and he's starting to say "please" when he really wants something.

Preschool Time

3–5

This is when kids start wanting to do things "by myself!" We work on the skills that help them feel independent—getting dressed, following routines, playing with friends—while learning to handle big emotions when things don't go as planned.

Like 4-year-old Emma, who can now put on her own shoes and jacket before preschool. She still needs help with buttons, but she tries first and asks for help when she's stuck instead of getting frustrated.

Elementary Age

6–12

School becomes a big part of life, and we help kids navigate both the classroom and the playground. Whether it's raising their hand to answer questions, working in groups, or figuring out recess friendships, we're building confidence in all the places that matter.

Like 8-year-old Jake, who used to eat lunch alone every day. Now he sits with two classmates, shares his cookies, and even invited a friend over for a playdate last weekend.

The Teen Years

13–17

Teenagers want more independence, and we help them earn it. We work on self-advocacy, organization skills, and those tricky social situations that come with adolescence. The goal is helping them speak up for themselves and take on more responsibility.

Like 15-year-old Sarah, who now manages her own homework schedule and advocates for herself during IEP meetings. She even got a part-time job at the local library, where she's learning workplace social skills.

Young Adulthood

18–21

These young adults are getting ready for life after school. We focus on job skills, managing their own schedules, and all the practical stuff they'll need to live independently. It's about preparing them for whatever comes next.

Like 19-year-old David, who recently moved into a supervised apartment program. He does his own grocery shopping, takes public transportation to his job at a local restaurant, and calls his parents twice a week just to chat.

Your child is on the brink of achieving so much too. With the right team at your side, working right alongside you - your child's accomplishments will astonish.
